We have now released a new version of Swimify Meet Manager, v2.14.9788.18960.
In this version we have changed the way changes like scratches/withdrawals/disqualifications/relay team changes etc from the Coach and Referee apps are downloaded to Swimify Meet Manager. Previously it could happen that if another person in your club had a copy of your Swimify database and opened that database and logged in to Swimify then that user downloaded the changes like scratches from the server and that meant that you could not download the same scratches since the scratches had already been downloaded and marked as complete.
With the new system it is now possible for multiple computers to download the same scratches/disqualifications without anyone else losing the scratches.
Important note: For the new system to be used then the coaches and referees must also update the apps. They must use the Coach app v1.8 or later and Referee app v1.5 or later. The apps will be updated in a couple of days from now after they have been approved by Apple and Google.
Note: If they have an older version of the apps then it will still work to make scratches/disqualifications as it worked previously but these scratches will only be downloaded to one computer. So we recommend all users to update the apps as soon as possible when they are released.
In the new version of Swimify Meet Manager you are also not allowed to create or open database that is inside a folder synced to the cloud like Dropbox/Microsoft Onedrive/Google Drive etc. These sync services can interfere with the database operations and can also cause loss of data or corruption of the database if you are unlucky. So you will get a message saying you must move the datebase file if you try to open an existing database in a sync folder.
If you get this message then please close all programs that can have the database opened (Swimify Meet Manager, Swimify Timekeeping and Swimify Announcer) and then move the database file to a different folder using Windows Explorer.
To see all changes made in this version then please read the change log for Swimify Meet Manager (see link to the right).
